General Information
CUBJAM 2009 will take place at Gilwell Park during the May school half term 2009.
It is open to Packs, Groups, Districts and Counties who wish to bring a contingent of Cubs
Cubs will arrive on Sat 23rd May and depart on Fri 29th May 2009
The maximum cost for a Cub Scout is £125, and the maximum adult cost is £75
Discount schemes are available - please read our Information Pack for more information
Contingents will need to add their own catering and transport costs
CUBJAM 2009 will have a Carnival Theme for the week. Subcamps will be formed for the contingents - each Subcamp having the theme of a Carnival City or Town in the world.
Our Radio Station - CUBJAM FM will be broadcasting throughout the week, with information, news, and interactive competitions for those on site, and those listening on FM and on the internet
During the week there will be plenty of activities, events and entertainment for the Cubs and Adults
There will also be Competitions throughout the week, and in the months before CUBJAM
During the week Cubs will be building Carnival Floats and Costumes for the Carnival Procession on Thursday evening
CUBJAM will provide 24hr Stewards, a FREE Coffee & Info Shop, additional first aid cover, Internet Access, and Mobile Phone charging facilities - along with all the events and activities for your Cubs.
