Sorry for the delay but normal life has got in the way.
What a busy last day.
Asia went off to Gullivers Land; Europe and Africa remained onsite for more fun activities.
We had the results of Cubjam got Talent and we had a virtual campfire with over 800 Cub Scouts singing "Father Abraham" amongst others.
We almost forgot to bring you a copy of the newsletter. Please see below to download. The final edition will be out today.
In case you missed it, a huge congratulations to Anna from 1st Burghfield and Emily from Harpenden who were runners up in the Cubjam Got Talent. The overall winner of Cubjam Got Talent 2019 is Cerys from 1st Harling. All have received a certificate and 4 golden tickets each to jump for an hour free of charge for themselves and 3 friends at their local Go Jumpin Trampoline Park. Well done to all the participants this year.
To follow the action of the closing ceremony this evening at 7.30pm, tune to the live outside broadcast for Cubjam Radio.

What a lovely morning!
Asia has their trip to Gullivers Land today but there are still activities going on around the campsite.
Africa may be off site having fun at Gulliver's Land but there are plenty of activities to keep the rest of the Cubs occupied back on the campsite. Please see below:
Europe were the first Sub Camp to visit Gullivers Land today. 6 coaches, full of excited Cub Scouts, Leaders (and a member of the Media Team!) left Phasels Wood Activity Centre at 9.30am and travelled up the M1 arriving at 10.30am.
Once in the park, the Cubs were free to do what they wanted (under leader supervision!) and had an awesome time on the rides. From riding the log flume to playing with a JCB digger, there were lots of smiling faces with some rides getting a repeat visit from the Cubs.
Tomorrow, Africa will be getting the opportunity to visit Gullivers Land. The weather looks as though there could be raindrops in the air but I know that will not dampen the spirit of adventure tomorrow.
What a day the Cubs have had!
From Archery to Human Buzzwire, all the Cubs have been taking part in so many activities and making so many memories. Cubs have been learning new craft skills, playing on inflatables and caving. There were auditions for CubJam Got Talent with an evening performance to determine who reached the final and we were also treated to an awesome magic show from Colonel Custard.
Sunday was an actioned packed day of "Around the World" adventure. Cubs got to experience food from Jamaica and India amongst others as well as doing craft activities and learning about new cultures. When they had completed all the challenges, they got a medal to celebrate their achievements.
Cubs were also busy designing flags and gates for their Sub Camps to be judged by the media team. After a lot of discussion and voting, the winners of the gate was Guernsey. Well done everyone.
There was also a vote for the winning flag. Congratulations to Colnbrook for winning first place.
Welcome to Cubjam 2019!
What a fantastic sight to see so many smiling faces going through passport control and into the arrivals lounge ready for their onward journey. Split into three continents, 52 contingents of Cub Scouts from across the world converged at Phasels Wood Scout Activity in Hertfordshire to begin their week-long "Around the world" adventure.
The Opening Ceremony was launched by a video from Steve Backshall who wished everyone well for the week and declared Cubjam officially open.
The Media team will be blogging all week about the events of the day. We will be doing a newsletter capturing the main points of the day as well as updating social media.
Cubjam Radio is also broadcasting from 7 am to 10.30pm and will be out and about getting interviews from the young people and at some points, letting the Cubs take over the airwaves. Get involved and hear about the big news stories of the day. Please see below details of how to contact them:
Keep a look out for the next instalment...
